About Steve
A dedicated golf professional with over a decade of experience, Steve McCreight has cultivated a career rooted in hands-on learning, mentorship, and a deep love for the game. Beginning his journey at 16 in Northeast Ohio, he started on the grounds crew of local country clubs, absorbing every aspect of course maintenance and operations. This foundational experience ignited a passion for golf that led him to transition into various roles, including outside attendant and golf shop attendant, before realizing his true calling in the business side of golf. A pivotal moment came when he secured his first Assistant Golf Professional position at the renowned Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
Seeking year-round opportunities, Steve relocated to The Woodlands, Texas, where he was hired for a position at The Golf Trails. He quickly advanced to Head Golf Professional. Following a merger, he was promoted to Director of Golf at The Woodlands Country Club, managing the North, West, and Tournament courses .
Eager to broaden his expertise, Steve embraced leadership roles with Invited Clubs, where most recently he honed his skills in club operations and management at Magnolia Creek Golf Club in League City, Texas as the general manager. These experiences equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of club dynamics, from golf operations to financial stewardship.
Now, at Lake Windcrest Golf Club Steve is excited to contribute to a financially healthy club with a strong team.

About Kristin
Kristin Riddle, membership director at Lake Windcrest Golf Club, was born and raised in the Houston area. She is an avid golfer who played golf for Baylor University and continues to enjoy the game. She spent 16 years as a Titleist Sales Representative, 2 years as a Tournament Director and most recently 5 years as a North Houston Realtor. Growing up at The Woodlands Country Club has inspired her to help families spend quality time together through golf and the life a country club offers. Kristin has two daughters Katrina and Savannah. Her hobbies include cooking, paddleboarding, golf trips and cheering for her girl's volleyball games.
